Meter Type Testing

IEC, European, New Zealand, Australian and US requirements for single phase or polyphase, import and export active and reactive Class 0.2, 0.5, 1 and 2 meters and NSC Pattern Approval and EGR D4. 

Metrology 

  • Power measurement accuracy. 
  • Accuracy variations due to the influences of: 
    • Temperature. 
    • Harmonics. 
    • Voltage/current/frequency changes. 
    • Power outages. 

Mechanical Properties 

Meter resilience to mechanical influences: 
  • Vibration. 
  • Shock. 
  • Impact. 
  • Ingress IP testing. 

Environmental Properties 

Operational or non-operational testing for: 

  • Dry heat. 
  • Cold temperature. 
  • Cyclical damp heat. 

EMC Requirements 

Meter tested to international standards for Electromagnetic interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic susceptibility (EMS).
