Underwriters's purpose-built laboratory has the significant advantage of
state-of-the art testing equipment and facilities. Underwriters has a
vigorous investment programme and this ensures that it stays
competitive in the rapidly emerging fields of testing and approvals
and enables it to move into new technologies and fields.
Along with its Christchurch laboratory it also has a third party
accredited EMC compliant Open Area Test Site at Birdlings Flat in
Banks Peninsula.
